Being and becoming yourself
Psychotherapy is a place for people to talk about all aspects of their lives. This includes their thoughts and feelings, relationships, as well as dreams, hopes and fears. People talk about things that scare them and thrill them, depress and amaze them. Talking in a collaborative, non-judgmental and safe space often helps people feel understood and in turn enables them to better understand themselves and the important people in their life. Considering what has not been thought of can open up new avenues for living in the world or make more difficult ones more bearable.
